American Truck Simulator Developers Show New Businesses from South Dakota Expansion
The geography of ATS continues to gradually expand. Another state will soon be featured in the game.
Recently, the creators of the American Truck Simulator truck driver simulator published a diary dedicated to the creation of the South Dakota expansion.
This time, SCS Software decided to introduce new businesses. The state is known not only for farming and livestock breeding; South Dakota also has a developing industrial sector that "produces everything" – from trailers and heavy machinery to food products.
The developers of American Truck Simulator are inspired by real industries to create authentic locations:
One of the new sights you'll encounter are the trailer manufacturing plants located in Watertown and Mitchell. These large industrial facilities specialize in producing various types of trailers, with finished products shipped to dealers and customers across the map. You'll also be tasked with delivering materials and components needed to keep the production lines running, making these plants a vital and bustling part of South Dakota's freight network.
In addition, players in American Truck Simulator will be able to work with a food factory and deliver materials and equipment for the construction of new residential complexes.
As usual, the selection of screenshots presented are "work in progress," meaning they do not reflect the final quality of the content.
The release date for the South Dakota DLC for American Truck Simulator has not yet been announced; you can add it to your Steam wishlist via the following link.
