The Summer Games Done Quick 2026 speedrunning marathon concluded, raising $2.4 million for Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières.
The annual event took place in Minneapolis and gathered 2,500 participants and thousands of online viewers.
All donations go directly to the organization, which "provides vital medical assistance to people in need around the world."
Among the marathon's highlights were Bluekandy's world record in Kirby Air Riders, a Balatro playthrough, and impromptu beatboxing during a Resident Evil: Requiem run.
In addition to speedruns, SGDQ 2026 included themed panels, gaming zones with board games and music, a fair with video game-inspired art, and areas where visitors could try new projects.
All run recordings are available on the Games Done Quick YouTube channel.
Since 2010, Games Done Quick events have raised over $62 million for charities worldwide, including the Malala Fund and the Organization for Autism Research. In 2025, SGDQ raised $2.436 million for Doctors Without Borders, and Awesome Games Done Quick 2026 raised $2.44 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
