Dragon's Dogma 2 Dark Arisen DLC Playtime and Approximate Content Volume Revealed

News 0

Recently, producer Naoto Oyama and game director Kenta Kinoshita spoke with Western journalists and discussed the upcoming Dark Arisen expansion for Dragon's Dogma 2.

They reminded that work on the Dark Arisen DLC has been ongoing for almost two years, taking into account community feedback.

The release version of Dragon's Dogma 2 was criticized for optimization issues. The developers once again announced that a patch aimed at improving game performance is scheduled for release in August.

Naoto hopes that players will appreciate the developers' efforts and return to the game:

I really hope that when players see the performance improvements we're bringing in August and how we're preparing for the expansion's release, they'll feel that the base version of Dragon's Dogma 2 is in good shape and they can return to the game before [Dark Arisen] comes out.

With the DLC, the game will introduce a new location, the Fallen Dominion: "ruins buried in snow in the far North," as well as 12 new dungeons and more options for the character editor.
