Those who managed to enter the game can complete tasks and receive a unique achievement.
Recently, Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov teased a new Blackout event for Escape from Tarkov. The developer published a screenshot from "The Lab" on social media, where the lights were turned off.
On July 14, the in-game event "Blackout" began in Escape from Tarkov and turned out to be very "atmospheric", as not only the lights on the map went out. Soon after the update started, players began to "experience difficulties connecting to servers and logging in" to the game. The developers apologized and began working on a fix.
The developers talked about the plot of the in-game event "Blackout" in Escape from Tarkov. Skier discovered a vulnerability in "The Lab's" security system and decided to raid the facility:
Such valuable information could not remain a secret for long, and many are now interested in the underground complex — each for their own reasons. However, someone was one step ahead: unknown operatives in black infiltrated the facility. What they are looking for there is unknown, but their presence poses a serious threat.
The end date of the "Blackout" event is planned to be announced later. The developers clarified that players will receive a unique achievement for completing related tasks.
