Developers from China are preparing to showcase the action game Tides of Annihilation.

The game demo of Tides of Annihilation will be available to journalists and visitors at gamescom 2026 for the first time. Presentations will take place from August 26 to 30 in the form of a playable demonstration. The publisher has already started promoting the event with a new trailer.

The developers also spoke about the technical side of the project. The Eclipse Glow Games team is collaborating with Epic Games engineers, who are assisting with optimizing the game on Unreal Engine 5. The authors claim that thanks to this, Tides of Annihilation will not only look impressive but also run with high performance. Path tracing support will be available on PC at launch, with NVIDIA assisting in its implementation.

Previously, the game was shown in a video featuring its combat system. Tides of Annihilation will be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S with no specific release date.
