The developers of Vampire Survivors have released update 1.5 for Vampire Crawlers, adding an Endless mode and gameplay improvements.
The main new feature is the endless mode. After completing the game, a new relic appears on the map, granting access to the endless mode. Once activated, previously completed dungeons can be replayed with ever-increasing difficulty. Players will have to descend deeper and deeper and fight stronger enemies.
The update also improved the interface: a quick exit from the game through settings was added, returning to the village was simplified, and cards can now be sorted by color and mana cost.
The developers also presented a roadmap. In 2026, each major update will add a new challenge mode with unique mechanics that, once unlocked, can be used in regular playthroughs.
The first challenge will be a hand limit system with a discard mechanic, increasing difficulty. In 2027, Vampire Crawlers will receive a new major content part called Astral Stair.
