Diablo IV and other Blizzard games are working again in Russia

In July, fans of Blizzard Entertainment games began to complain about problems accessing servers. For example, they could not log into projects such as Diablo IV, World of Warcraft, and Overwatch.

In some cases, access to the company's Battle.net service was also lost. At the same time, there were also cases when it was impossible to connect only to certain games: Diablo IV might work, but WoW would not, and vice versa.

Over several days, a significant number of complaints accumulated, and they began to attract attention outside the Blizzard Entertainment gaming communities. It so happened that connection problems began to disappear after gamers' complaints went viral in the media and social networks.

According to data from resources such as "detector404", some users from Russia are still experiencing disruptions in the Battle.net service. However, the number of complaints has decreased, and players on forums report that they have successfully connected directly to the servers of games such as Diablo IV, World of Warcraft, and Overwatch.

It is unknown what exactly caused the failure. There is an opinion that it could have been related to the blocking of other resources and the game servers were simply "affected".
