In July, Rockstar Games introduced the Kortz Center Heist update for Grand Theft Auto Online. A full new heist was added to the game.
On the day the update was released, the number of negative reviews for the game on Steam sharply increased. The reason for the dissatisfaction was changes in the in-game economy. The developers reduced rewards for successfully completing some heists.
Fans from GTASeriesVideos studied the statistics and concluded that rewards were cut by an average of 100-200 thousand GTA $, and sometimes the difference is significantly more – the new maximum reward for The Diamond Casino Heist is a million less.
Questions also arose about the new Kortz Center Heist: to unlock the mission, you need to buy a mansion and a special studio – 16 million GTA $ are required. At the same time, about two million are given for the first weekly playthrough.
Against this backdrop, a promotion is being held with free access to Grand Theft Auto Online. Until July 20, players can play on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles without an active PS Plus or Game Pass Essential subscription.
