In mid-July, Valve published a new post on the Team Fortress 2 blog. The developers confirmed that they continue to work on new content for the cooperative PvE mode Mann vs. Machine.

According to Valve, the team continues to work – it took more time to implement the plans:

We are still working on the MvM update. It has taken much longer than we initially expected to get all the new content and changes sorted out, but we assure you – work is progressing. Thank you for your patience!

Last year, Valve sought help from Team Fortress 2 fans. The company collected fan maps and missions for Mann vs. Machine. At that time, Halloween-themed projects were required.

In Mann vs. Machine mode, a team of players defends against waves of bots of different classes on various maps. After their destruction, money drops, which must be collected quickly, as currency packs disappear over time. Between rounds, you can buy upgrades for character stats, as well as for weapons and equipment used.
