Redemption Road studio has for the first time presented a playable demo of Kingmakers after postponing its release last year. It was shown to visitors of BiliBili World 2026 in China. The developers promised to publish a detailed gameplay demonstration soon.
Kingmakers combines large-scale medieval battles in the style of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord with a third-person shooter. Players will have to fight armies of knights using modern weapons, as well as motorcycles, armored personnel carriers, and even tanks.
The appearance of a playable version at the exhibition may indicate that development is in its final stages. Kingmakers was originally planned for release on October 8, 2025. The game was postponed at the last minute. The authors have not yet announced a new release date.
