Not all Escape from Tarkov analogues enjoy great popularity.

Earlier this year, The Midnight Walkers was released on PC via Steam. The project launched in "early access" and initially attracted some player attention, but quickly lost its audience.

The peak online record surpassed 2600 players, but recently the peak has been at the level of several dozen users. Oneway Ticket Studio decided to change the structure of their project — they are abandoning the old PvPvE live service structure with dedicated servers and moving to a PvE-oriented P2P format with support for single-player and cooperative play.

The marketplace and ranking system are being removed from The Midnight Walkers, and matchmaking is being reworked. Changes will also affect progression, and developers will remove or modify old quests that required participation in PvP battles.

In The Midnight Walkers, players explore the Liberty Grand Center — a huge complex of buildings, each floor of which represents a certain theme. There you can find various loot, as well as encounter zombies.

The release of the "PvE update" for The Midnight Walkers is scheduled for July 23.
