The creators of the life simulator The Sims 4 presented their July development diary and talked about the upcoming update. Maxis studio will focus on optimization and fix various bugs.
The technical state of The Sims 4 will be improved on all platforms. According to the developers, the game will have better memory management, which will increase operational stability, reduce lag, improve frame rates and response times, speed up loading, and reduce the risk of game crashes related to memory.
In addition, The Sims 4 is expected to perform better during long gaming sessions and when playing with large households on lots with many decorations.
The release of the next update for The Sims 4 is scheduled for July 21. The developers said that the implemented improvements "lay the foundation for future changes." They plan to share more details closer to September.
Earlier this year, a premium add-on pack "Bridgerton's Masquerade Ball — Collection" was released for the game, featuring content in the style of the "Bridgerton" series.
