The launch of Battlefield 6's fourth season is approaching, and Electronic Arts has announced a new partnership. The shooter will get a collaboration with the Top Gun franchise.
On August 18, Battlefield 6 will feature a Top Gun event of the same name. The Wake Island map will be available in the game – it has been featured in the franchise before. In addition, the Carrier Strike game mode will become available, in which naval, air, and ground forces confront each other, and teams aim to destroy the enemy's aircraft carrier.

In addition, the developers of Battlefield 6 have published an overview video dedicated to the naval gameplay of the fourth season. Players will be able to use a variety of watercraft models – they are used not only for delivering fighters but also for providing fire support.
The start of Battlefield 6's fourth season is scheduled for July 21, 2026. Developers have previously opened pre-orders for the battle pass, which is available as an add-on. As usual, players will be able to receive various cosmetic rewards, including skins for fighters, as well as weapons.
