The book "Battle March: General's Handbook" for the Warhammer: The Old World tabletop game has been released, so today Games Workshop unveiled five new sets designed for "Battle March" — a format for quick battles with armies of 400–750 points.
The "Empire of Man" set contains the following miniatures: a commander with a two-handed weapon, 20 infantrymen with weapon options, 10 flagellants, 10 crossbowmen or musketeers, 10 archers, 5 outriders, which can also be assembled as pistoliers.
In the "Beastmen Herds" set, you can find a chieftain with two one-handed weapons, a shaman, 10 Ungors with weapon options, 10 Bestigors, 20 Gors with a choice of two one-handed weapons or a one-handed weapon with a shield, 10 Chaos Hounds.
The "Orc & Goblin Tribes" set includes an Orc Boss on a Boar, a Goblin Shaman, an Orc Standard Bearer, 15 Orc Boyz with weapon options, 5 Goblin Wolf Riders with weapon options, 5 Orc Boar Boyz, and an Orc Chariot pulled by two boars.
The "High Elf Kingdoms" set contains a High Elf Sea Guard Lord, 10 Lothern Sea Guard warriors, 5 Shadow Warriors, which can alternatively be assembled as Sisters of Avelorn, 5 Ellyrian Reavers, a Lothern Skycutter (a flying chariot with an eagle), and a Tiranoc Chariot, which can alternatively be assembled as a Chrace Lion Chariot.
And the "Wood Elf Kingdoms" set features Araloth the Bold – a Wood Lord of Talsyn, 10 Eternal Guard, 5 Sisters of the Thorn, 4 Wild Riders, and 8 Glade Guard. All the aforementioned new products will soon be available for pre-order.
