In July, Valve published a list of sales planned for the Steam store in the first half of 2027. As usual, the selection included not only major seasonal sales but also festivals focused on a specific genre, mechanic, or game element.

- Tabletop Companions Festival: January 14–18
- Store Management Festival: January 25 – February 1
- Sheep Games Festival: February 4–8
- Local Co-op Festival: February 8–15
- February Steam Next Fest 2027: February 22 – March 1
- Rhythm Festival: March 8–15
- Spring Sale 2027 (seasonal event): March 18–25
- Dinosaurs vs. Robots Festival: March 29 – April 5
- Racing Festival: April 12–19
- Witch Festival: April 22–26
- Fighting Game Festival: April 26 – May 3
- Real-Time Strategy Festival: May 10–17
- Mountaineering Festival: May 31 – June 3
- June Steam Next Fest 2027: June 14–21
- Summer Sale 2027 (seasonal event): June 24 – July 8
Valve also reminded that in 2026, two major seasonal sales will take place — Autumn (October 1 — October 8) and Winter (December 17 — January 4, 2027), as well as several thematic festivals. The nearest "Train Festival" starts on July 20.
