Blogger suspects Sony of using bots after PlayStation drops discs

News 3

YouTube blogger Moore's Law Is Dead stated that bots may be operating on social media, supporting PlayStation's decision to stop releasing new games on physical media from 2028.

The author of the video analyzed three accounts that, according to him, had shown almost no activity for years and suddenly began posting messages in support of Sony's decisions. The blogger noted that the posts were written in formal, "corporate" language, and the profile pictures could have been created using AI.

According to him, one of the accounts spoke positively about the closure of the PS3 and PS Vita digital stores, although at the time this decision caused widespread criticism. Other profiles, after several years of silence, unexpectedly began posting messages about Rockstar Games, GTA VI, and the benefits of abandoning physical copies of games.

Moore's Law Is Dead emphasized that he cannot confirm the connection of these accounts with Sony. He does not rule out that third-party companies or individuals may be behind them.
