Gallipoli to be released in August: developers focused on realism and teamwork
The realistic online shooter Gallipoli from BlackMill Games will be released on August 20, 2026, featuring full cross-play, new medic and machine gunner roles, and an increased emphasis on teamwork.
The creators of the realistic online shooter Gallipoli have announced a new release date. The game from BlackMill Games studio will be released on August 20, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Initially, the premiere was planned for May, but the developers had to postpone the release.
The authors spoke about new game mechanics. Now soldiers will sprint in a crouched position, not raising their heads above the trenches. Compared to Isonzo, the developers placed a greater emphasis on team interaction.
Players will be able to use convenient on-screen markers, and the new roles of medics and machine gun operators will further motivate them to act together.
The creators note that immersion remains their top priority. To achieve this, they are working on visual effects for explosions and dust, as well as realistic ballistics and weapon handling mechanics.
Gallipoli will feature full cross-play — PS5 and Xbox Series X|S owners will be able to play together with PC users.
