Recently, the developers of Escape from Tarkov launched a new in-game event called "Blackout". The lights were turned off on the "Laboratory" map and formidable Black Division bots were unleashed:
Secret developments from the Laboratory are gradually spreading beyond its borders. Those unburdened by morality have already significantly lined their pockets. The Mechanic, meanwhile, is diligently trying to restore power to the underground complex to prevent a potential leak of materials too dangerous in the wrong hands.
At the time of launch, Battlestate Games did not specify the duration of the event, but now they have warned – the in-game event "Blackout" in Escape from Tarkov will last until July 27. A chain of quests is associated with this event, for completing which players will be able to get a unique achievement for their collection.
This month, Escape from Tarkov plans to introduce a seasonal system and launch the first season called Kord Breach. Earlier, Nikita Buyanov showed some teasers – players expect that the ability to customize the appearance of PMC characters will be implemented.
