Ubisoft to Re-release Watch Dogs: Legion and Ghost Recon Wildlands with New Content - Insider Info

News 2

Recently, well-known insider Tom Henderson revealed possible plans by Ubisoft Entertainment for the Watch Dogs and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon franchises.

Players recently started noticing promotional banners for a new version of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands Definitive Edition. Judging by the footage presented online, the shooter will receive 4K resolution support at 60 FPS. The original release took place in 2017 on PC, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. A next-gen update for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with additional content would seem logical.

Tom Henderson's sources said that the company plans to re-release Watch Dogs: Legion. The updated version is scheduled for release later this year, with additional content intended to be added to the game.

According to the insider, Ubisoft Entertainment will not stop there, and the company plans to release similar re-releases of its other games. Perhaps this is how the developers want to compensate for the lack of full-fledged new releases.

It is unknown why Watch Dogs: Legion was chosen specifically – many criticized this installment of the franchise.
