The elderly gamer managed to conquer the FromSoftware game, but had to apply ice to his hands due to the increased strain.

FromSoftware studio projects are known for their difficulty, but players find ways to win. Such games also attract elderly gamers.

Recently, a post by a user under the nickname vuduthmb went viral in the Elden Ring community. This is a 74-year-old gamer who has been playing this game for several years. He recently announced that he finally managed to earn a "platinum" – a virtual trophy awarded on PlayStation for obtaining all achievements from the base version of the game.

A few years ago, I became the "Elden Lord". I completed Elden Ring and Shadow of the Erdtree on NG+7, which is the highest difficulty level, at the age of 72. And today, having dealt with the last matters, I received all 42 trophies on PlayStation in Elden Ring. On the Sony console, I played Elden Ring for about 1075 hours – this does not include a couple of playthroughs on Xbox Series X. And now I am 74 years old.

Younger players praised the enthusiastic gamer's achievement. During a conversation with community members, vuduthmb admitted that his hands hurt, but it was worse with Armored Core VI (where the strain on the hands is even higher). He even had to apply ice and take breaks for warm-ups.
