Teaser images of the first collectible item from JND Studios, dedicated to the "Star Wars" universe, have appeared online. It has been revealed that in the future, people will be able to purchase a hyperrealistic 1/3 scale statue of young Anakin Skywalker from "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace".
JND Studios CEO James Park (aka James Pak) also shared some details with users. The team's plan is to release the "Star Wars" collection episode by episode, covering both the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy.
Each episode is already planned, and each statue in this series follows one simple principle: “The most important moments and key relationships in Star Wars.”
The aforementioned statue will be available in two versions: standard – with young Anakin Skywalker, and deluxe – with young Anakin Skywalker and Watto. According to James, the statue will have a “commemorative” price. This is not a discount. It's simply JND Studios' way of inviting as many fans as possible to embark on this journey with them (most likely, the new item will not be very expensive).
Everyone who purchases an item from Episode I will receive priority purchase rights for every release from Episode II to Episode VI. Instead of priority access only to the next release, JND Studios wants to offer priority for the entire journey.
Collectors who collect items from all episodes will receive a special exclusive non-commercial gift from the team. This will be a product not intended for sale, but a complete work of art.
