The Czech game Scarlet Deer Inn, with characters embroidered on a sewing machine, has been released on Steam

The creators showed a creative approach when working on the characters and animations.

In July, Scarlet Deer Inn by Attu Games studio was released on PC via Steam. Initially, it was a project by a Czech couple – husband and wife, but during development, the team expanded – they had a child.

The developers decided to take an unconventional approach to creating characters and their animations: they embroidered them on a sewing machine. They showed an example of this work in the release trailer, which also features gameplay footage.

The creators of Scarlet Deer Inn position their game as an embroidered dark medieval folklore tale:

Eliza is a mother of two children. She is not outstanding, and no heroic epics are composed about her. Circumstances will force her to go to unusual places and face dark, frightening situations.

The Scarlet Deer Inn page on Steam is available at the following link. The first reviews of the game are positive. Console versions of the game are planned for later release, with the exact date not yet announced by the developers. In honor of the release, the game received a 10% discount, and a digital soundtrack was also released for sale as an add-on.
