The creators of the real-time strategy game Broken Arrow have started teasing a new expansion for the game. It is called Russian Guard and will add a new Russian specialization to the game.
The "Russian Guard" will become available in Broken Arrow. The developers explained that the new spec will combine elite infantry units, powerful fire support and air defense assets, as well as combat reserves and various armored vehicles, forming a "universal combat force capable of effectively performing a wide range of tasks on the battlefield, thereby expanding the Russian Federation's arsenal with new tactical capabilities."
The Russian Guard expansion will include:
- New Rosgvardiya specialization for the Russian faction
- 8 infantry units with 20 unique weapon variants
- 31 new unit types, ground and air combat vehicles
- 2 new maps: Daugavpils and Coal Mountain
- 2 new scenarios featuring Rosgvardiya
- New AI army for skirmish mode
- New hangar theme
