Ubisoft Announced Sales of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced
Ubisoft reported on the success of Black Flag Resynced: in the first two weeks, game sales exceeded 3.5 million copies, surpassing internal annual forecasts.
Ubisoft announced a major success for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. In the first two weeks after its release, the game achieved a result that the company had only expected after a year.
Project sales have already exceeded 3.5 million copies in 14 days. According to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, the game not only surpassed internal forecasts but also became the highest-rated installment in the series since the original Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
The release of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is a very encouraging confirmation of the effectiveness of our new organizational structure. The game was very well received by players and exceeded our annual sales expectations within two weeks.
The project also set a historical record on Steam. This is the first Assassin's Creed game to surpass 100,000 concurrent players on Steam. Ubisoft notes that thanks to this, the share of PC sales became the largest in the franchise's history.
The main interest in the game was shown by players from the USA and China. However, Black Flag Resynced sales have not yet been included in Ubisoft's latest financial report, so the company expects additional growth in indicators in the next quarter.
