Cosplayer Embodies Melinoë from Hades II - Daughter of Hades and Persephone

Thanks to cosplayer Ksenia Shalygina, users were once again able to find themselves in Hades' Underworld, as she transformed into Melinoë - the main character of the game Hades II.

Photographer Sofia Korb ventured into the world of ancient Greek myths and legends to create a variety of shots for cosplay fans and those who missed the roguelike universe of Hades II.

During the photoshoot, model Ksenia Shalygina appeared as Melinoë — the Princess of the Underworld, daughter of Hades and Persephone, and Zagreus' younger sister.

Melinoë has short blonde hair adorned with a wreath of orange leaves and a crescent moon, and her pale face features heterochromia: her left eye glows red, and her right eye is green. The most striking detail of her appearance is her left arm.

It is completely ghostly, glowing with a bright green neon light and revealing a skeleton visible through transparent flesh. The princess is dressed in a practical combat dress, complemented by protective elements.

Unlike her daring, sarcastic, and ironic brother Zagreus, Melinoë was raised as a “child soldier,” so she is extremely serious, disciplined, and composed. She is very polite, communicates respectfully with everyone around her — from small shades to great gods — but at the same time, she can be overly strict with herself.

The princess constantly doubts her own strength and fears being not strong enough, which pushes her to train to exhaustion to save her loved ones. Despite her strict upbringing, she has retained kindness, compassion for ghosts, and sincere loyalty to her friends.
