The approximate release window for the sci-fi RPG Exodus is known. Initially, the game was planned for release in 2026, but Archetype Entertainment studio postponed the launch to early 2027.
Project narrative director Drew Karpyshyn clarified that there's no need to wait until mid-next year. During an interview at the Celsius 232 festival, the developer was asked about the time-slowing mechanic in the game – he did not reveal details and only hinted at an early release.
Players will see it. We are coming out in very early 2027.
The exact release date has not yet been announced by the developers, but the wording may mean a release before spring. Many major games after the winter season usually start releasing in February, so players may learn more information during upcoming gaming events, including Gamescom.
