A huge number of adult projects are released on Steam. Valve moderators sometimes allow very explicit projects, but local censorship works unpredictably — they can block the launch of a completely harmless (by the standards of already released games) new title.
Recently, the creator of Spanking Exorcist encountered such strange realities of Steam moderation. His indie game turned out to be “too indecent” — he learned this from negotiations with service representatives.
In the comedy horror Spanking Exorcist, players are invited to take on the role of an exorcist who expels ghosts in a specific way — by spanking them:
Spanking Exorcist Sirihata Ioto receives a new assignment and goes to a mysterious residential complex. It is called... "Peach Butt Complex". According to rumors, ghosts of married women gather here, who during their lives could not fulfill their last wish — "I want to be spanked properly!" This is an ominous place, shrouded in dark legends.
Spanking Exorcist was supposed to be released on Steam in July, but now the release date is listed as "Coming Soon". It is currently unknown how long it will take to refine the game to suit Valve's service.
