In July, Creative Assembly studio held a broadcast where they showed a lot of Total War: Warhammer 40,000 gameplay. The developers demonstrated a battle between Orks and the Imperial Guard.
Most heroes will now have guards. As the developers explained, if characters are "not super strong and not super outstanding," they will be accompanied by bodyguards.
Total War: Warhammer 40,000 features an environmental destruction system, and it's not a "cosmetic effect" but is used in gameplay – players will be able to break through alternative routes for units and attack fortifications. In addition, orbital bombardment and Ork vehicles in action can be seen – they use huge war machines.
