In July, the creators of the co-op horror shooter Killing Floor 3 once again made their presence known. Tripwire Interactive studio offers Steam users to get acquainted with the project for free.
Recently, the developers released a major update for the game with the fourth season “Operation Shadow Hunter”. Players gained access to the Gunslinger perk, new weapon modifications, the Hastur Oil Platform map, the Moorcroft boss appeared, and a new difficulty level was added.
At launch, players actively criticized Killing Floor 3 due to technical problems and the abandonment of the class system familiar to the franchise (for some time they were tied to specific characters, but then returned to the old system). After a series of updates, reviews on Steam improved, but for now the game is still in the anti-rating of the “top 100 worst” in 74th place – between Battlefield REDSEC and Warborne Above Ashes.
The Killing Floor 3 page on Steam is available at the following link. The free access promotion will last until July 27, 20:00 Moscow time. Until August 6, discounts apply to the game and various editions.
