The developers of the turn-based tactical game Star Wars Zero Company have shared new details. According to lead producer Cadence Funk, completing the story campaign will take most players around 30–40 hours, although much depends on the chosen difficulty and experience in the strategy genre.
However, the game will not feature a New Game+ mode. Nevertheless, repeated playthroughs can unlock "certain customization options."
BitReactor studio confirmed that the story will remain linear.
While we aim to evolve the genre with a more cinematic approach, at its core, it is still a turn-based tactical game where skill and strategy are essential to win intense battles.
Some story scenes will change depending on the squad composition, and player decisions will affect certain narrative elements and character relationships. However, the ending for most players will be "generally the same."
Star Wars Zero Company is set to release on August 27, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
