Escape from Tarkov will soon feature a seasonal system, and the developers will launch the first season called Kord Breach. Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov continues to publish various teasers on social media.
As usual, he provided no explanations, so players are analyzing the footage and building theories. Recently, the "Tarkov Metamovement" community studied the teasers and highlighted the key art for the Kord Breach season:
There are also shots from the trailer for the upcoming update 1.1.0: it is assumed that these are new items that could be the final reward; and in front of the developer's monitor are figurines of girls, including Enby Demara from Zenless Zone Zero:
If nothing changes, the update with seasons in Escape from Tarkov will be released by the end of July. Players will be able to create a special seasonal character, which will be subject to "general modifiers." It will also be possible to choose additional positive and negative modifiers that affect gameplay.
The selection includes shots of a new map for Escape from Tarkov: Arena.
Previously, the developers published a full list of modifiers; in the upcoming Kord Breach season, the following mods will be active for all players:
- Broken insurance – items cannot be insured with traders
- Armor shortage – there is an armor shortage with traders in Tarkov
- Black Division – Black Division fighters are encountered in locations
- Jack of all trades – crafting time is reduced by 50%, and the "Handicraft" skill is level 51 by default
- Hideout without FIR – building modules in the Hideout does not require items to have "Found in Raid" status
- Experienced PMCs – the character gains 25% more experience per raid
