In July, the creators of Zenless Zone Zero announced a new line of collaborations. miHoYo (HoYoverse) announced the event ""Culinary Virtuoso" (Taste Hunt 2026 collaboration)".
At that time, the developers published a trailer, including in the VK community. The promo banner featured Manato, as well as Ellen Joe – with bare legs. However, the fan community "HoYoverse Events Russia" noted that the promotional materials were eventually changed: "In Russia, Ellen was censored and she will be wearing tights. Which version do you like more?".
Judging by the comments, some even prefer this design, for example, Vedomy commented: "Stockings are the best item of clothing".
Participants in the discussion also noted that "it's cold in Russia in August," so this design looks more logical.
This is not the first time that promotional materials have been changed in Russia. For example, last year during the Zenless Zone Zero collaboration with the "DoDo Pizza" chain, Enby Demara and Bernice White received stockings and "cycling shorts" covering their legs. At that time, some connoisseurs also praised the "local" version of the promo banner.
