Zenless Zone Zero will soon receive update 3.1, which will add a couple of new characters to the game – Sigrid de l'Azur and Remiella Dun will appear.
miHoYo (HoYoverse) has published a story animated trailer dedicated to Remiella's story – an experiment went wrong and the heroine had to fight a familiar Cavern Hunter.
Remiella Dun will have an S-rank, her attribute is "Lumen", specialty "Anomaly", she is from the "Daata Circle" faction.
In a recent blog, miHoYo showed the heroine's combat animations and published a description of the gameplay mechanics, in particular the "Lumen" attribute:
When entering the battlefield, an agent with the Lumen attribute undergoes an attribute transformation depending on the base attribute of the next agent in the squad. After this, the Lumen damage dealt by the agent is considered damage of the attribute into which the attribute was transformed. When agents deal Lumen damage, attribute anomaly does not accumulate. Some of the Lumen agents' attacks can directly apply Lumen charges to enemies. If an enemy has Lumen charges and is about to enter an anomaly state, this anomaly state will undergo Refraction. After Refraction, the effect strength of this anomaly state will increase, increasing its total damage. The bonus depends on the refraction coefficient of the one who applied the Lumen charges.
The release of Zenless Zone Zero 3.1 update is scheduled for July 29.
