Insider: Nintendo Switch 2 to get three games from Sifu developers
Insider Nash Weedle reported that the French studio Sloclap is preparing three projects for the Nintendo Switch 2.
The Nintendo Switch 2 library may soon be expanded with three projects from the French studio Sloclap. This was reported by insider Nash Weedle, who has previously published reliable information about Nintendo's plans on multiple occasions.
The first game will be Rematch — a football action game released in June 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The project did not appear on the original Nintendo Switch, as the developers allegedly initially planned to release it only on Switch 2.
The second project is a special version of Sifu. The game is already available on Switch, but a paid update with improvements for the new hardware is allegedly being prepared for Switch 2. The release was originally scheduled for 2026, but it has been postponed to 2027. A physical edition is also being considered.
Sloclap is also working on a new game that is in early development. According to the insider, the Nintendo Switch 2 has been on the list of target platforms from the very beginning, and there are no details about the project yet.
