Games Workshop announced what new products fans of the tabletop game Warhammer: Necromunda will be able to pre-order starting August 1, 2026. A new core set will be available for purchase.
With it, you'll be able to witness a battle between eight members of the “Matriarch's Blades” gang and eight thugs from the “Forge Smelters” gang of House Goliath. All miniatures are brand new.
The set also includes a new game board and a terrain set with broken pipes, the main rulebook, gang tactics and campaign scenario card sets, a beginner's guide and assembly booklet, 54 condition and status markers, a foldable range ruler, dice, templates, and much more.
All existing miniatures are fully compatible with the new edition, so the main rulebook can be purchased separately. You will also need one of the new gang books, as each contains all the updated rules for the player's chosen factions.
Card sets can be purchased separately. “Gang Tactics” contains 18 tactics cards and eight blank gang fighter cards. “Campaign and Scenarios” is designed for a full narrative campaign and includes 22 territory cards, 24 scenario cards, and six quick-reference rule cards.
“Hive Team” series sets will go on sale. The following houses will be available: Cawdor, Orlock, Goliath, Escher, Delaque, and Van Saar. Each set contains approximately 16–20 miniatures from existing kits, as well as a house-specific set of weapons and upgrades.
The “Zone Mortalis Factoria Pipes” terrain set will be available. It contains various pipes and connected equipment. In addition, a set including 64 plastic condition and status markers will be available. Each double-sided token features a symbol that helps determine important statuses directly during the game when using the new main rulebook.
Stylized bases will be available for purchase. Each pack of 10 28.5mm bases is randomly distributed among four different designs, and 50mm bases come in packs of three.
In addition, the hardcover books “Cursed and Distorted” and “Innumerable and Predicting” by Robert Rath, dedicated to the adventures of Necrons such as Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner, will be available for pre-order. All the above new products are expected to go on sale on August 15, 2026.
