It was expected that a new team-based PvPvE shooter, NCORE, would be released on PC via Steam this year. The game was planned to be distributed as free-to-play.
However, in July – almost 8 months after the previous announcement – Astrum Entertainment addressed the community and announced the cessation of development and the closure of NCORE;
You bravely fought in the arena, demonstrating amazing tactical and strategic abilities, defeated dangerous rivals, formed alliances, and went into battle shoulder to shoulder with new friends. Together we explored the arena's hexes, used gadgets, and understood the mechanics of transforming weapons. Unfortunately, we had to make a difficult but important decision for the development of Astrum Entertainment: we are ceasing development and closing the NCORE project.
Astrum Entertainment noted that the developers studied community feedback: "It will influence what our next games will be like."
The NCORE game website will soon be closed, and official communities will remain open, but the ability to leave comments will be removed.
