
Now you can play TES III: Morrowind in your browser - the project was assembled with the help of AI
In the foreseeable future, support for custom mods may appear.
A user known as Dumpster_Buddy recently announced the release of a browser version of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.
This version of TES III: Morrowind is fully functional: players can save their progress and use a gamepad for control. The author stated that the project is based on OpenMW — an open-source engine.
The build does not include game assets and by default offers a test world. However, players can “bring their own Morrowind” — to do this, they need to specify the path to the game files:
Use your own legally purchased copy. openmw-web is based on the OpenMW engine, essentially recompiled into WebAssembly to run in a browser, and is distributed under the GPLv3 license. To upload your own files, a Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, or Brave) on a PC is required.
