In late July, QUICKFIREGAMES Publisher: Firesquid and Gamersky Games announced the PC release of Prelude Dark Pain on Steam in "early access" format. The new game is positioned as a tactical role-playing game.
The events unfold in a dark fantasy world, and at the center of the story is a local blacksmith, Soren – he must lead a rebellion against the Order of the Ash Crusade and save a world devastated by war.
Players in Prelude Dark Pain are offered to control a squad that can include up to five heroes, each belonging to a specific class.
The current version of the game includes about 15 hours of gameplay – Act 1 of the story, 9 heroes, and 8 classes; a world map filled with main and side quests is open. The authors plan to present more than 20 playable heroes, a full-fledged world with 20 factions and 70 types of enemies, including bosses, in the full version.
