Cyan developers spent about four months creating a project codenamed Project Anglerfish, set in the Myst universe. However, development reached a dead end, and the game will not be released.
It seems Project Anglerfish failed to attract any publishers. The presented prototype was created as a demonstration to attract funding, and this was not achieved. However, Cyan does not rule out that individual locations, puzzles, and other ideas from the project may be used in future games.
