Lenovo has shared new details regarding the flagship gaming tablet Legion Y700 Wuji. This time, the developers talked about the device's display, which has an 8.4-inch diagonal.
The screen resolution is 2560×1600 pixels with a pixel density of 359 ppi and a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. The panel is built on OLED technology, but with an RGB structure instead of PenTile.
Local peak brightness reaches up to 4000 nits. The native color depth is 10 bits, with 12 bits achieved through the FRC algorithm. DCI-P3 and Dolby Vision support are present. Factory calibration DeltaE is less than 1. At low brightness, PWM at 3840 Hz eliminates flicker. At medium and high brightness, DC Dimming is available — a screen brightness control technology without flicker.
The proportion of harmful blue light is less than 6.75%. The SVM coefficient remains below 0.4, which corresponds to the safety threshold for flicker absence. The screen response time is 0.3 ms. The instantaneous touch sampling rate is 3400 Hz, the native multi-finger touch sampling rate is 360 Hz, and the end-to-end touch latency is 39 ms.
