Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD Developers Will Pay Homage to the Original Flash Game - Classic Mode to Appear for Franchise's 15th Anniversary

The developers are preparing to celebrate the anniversary.

The Kingdom Rush tower defense franchise has been evolving for 15 years. In honor of this, the developers decided to prepare a special mode that will be available in the new installment of the franchise.

Players in Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD will be offered a “classic mode” — it pays homage to the original flash game Kingdom Rush:

Play through the entire campaign with the classic set of Kingdom Rush towers, including their original upgrade paths. Staying true to the experience of the first game, you will also command only one hero and rely on the iconic Reinforcements and Rain of Fire spells, defending the kingdom once again. A declaration of love to 2011!

This classic mode will have a number of rules:

1 hero: “just like in the good old days!”
Only classic towers: Barracks, Archers, Mages, and Artillery
Only classic spells: Rain of Fire and Reinforcements

The towers themselves will be as players remember them from the original Kingdom Rush.
