VK Play announced the launch of the third season of the demo festival "Demofest 3.0". From July 29 to September 2, developers will be able to submit applications for participation, and from September 17 to September 30, players will get access to dozens of free demo versions.
Participants will be able to evaluate future projects, receive awards, and interact with authors. For developers, the festival will be an opportunity to gather feedback before a full release.
Alexander Mikheev, CEO of VK Play, stated:
Over two years, Demofest has become an important gathering point for Russian developers and players. We see that the format is in demand, studios receive feedback, and gamers discover new games. This season, we have enhanced the interaction mechanics, added new activities, and continue to develop the festival as an annual tradition.
This year, players can expect new achievements, including rewards for first participation, replaying demos, and adding games to their wishlist. There will also be "Demofest Bingo" with tasks, streams, and prize giveaways.
VK Play Media will also prepare interviews with developers, demo reviews, top games, and podcasts about Russian gamedev.
