Ubisoft is in no hurry to show Assassin's Creed Hexe - insider reveals release dates

Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe may not be released until the second half of 2027. This was stated by insider NateTheHate, answering a question about the timing of the new Ubisoft game's reveal.

The game will not be released before the second half of 2027. They don't need to rush with an announcement or a reveal.

Assassin’s Creed Hexe was first introduced in 2022 as part of Ubisoft's plans for the series' development. Since then, the company has revealed almost no details about the project.

According to rumors, Ubisoft Montréal is developing the game, and the events of the game will unfold during the witch hunts in the Holy Roman Empire of the 16th–17th centuries. The project is expected to be darker and more atmospheric, and to abandon the large-scale RPG formula of recent installments in favor of a more linear story with an emphasis on stealth and survival.

Hexe will be part of Ubisoft's new strategy along with the Animus Hub platform, the multiplayer Assassin’s Creed Invictus, the mobile Assassin’s Creed Jade, and remakes of classic games in the series. The project does not yet have official release dates or gameplay.
