In late July, Frosty Pop and Strange Scaffold announced the release of Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World?! for PC on Steam and Xbox. Players take on the role of a truck driver who sends hit pedestrians to isekai (another world).
The development studio describes the game's premise as follows:
Carissa Ward was ready to start a new job as VP of Marketing when YOU sent her to a world of fantasy and magic by hitting her with a truck! But instead of accepting her fate, gathering a team, and embarking on a journey of self-discovery, Carissa, relying on her knowledge of anime tropes and Japanese RPGs, chose a different path: “Crush everyone on the road without the slightest remorse.”
Players will serve the newly buffed anime elf, drive a magical truck, and complete quests in two worlds — as Truck-kun, hitting pedestrians and sending them to another world, and helping Carissa charge the “Galactic Gates” with stars.
On the other side of the rift, players will find the Skeleton King, who possesses a scroll of resurrection, the only way for Carissa to return home.
