Bethesda Game Studios continues to work on The Elder Scrolls VI, but after many years there is no specific release date or release window. The developers are not in a hurry to publish new promotional materials, and while some fans spend time in other studio projects, others are making their own Elder Scrolls.
Recently, TES fans remembered the project The Indie Scrolls. The enthusiast has been working for several months — he published his first mini-devlog on March 13. At that time, he wrote: "Day 1. Creating my own The Elder Scrolls until TES VI comes out."
While communicating with other community members, he said that he does not have a clear "roadmap." Recently, he has been working on character creation and basic systems/mechanics for The Indie Scrolls.
However, in another post, he mentioned "grand plans":
I have grand plans involving an Empress, an evil sorcerer, and also time travel (possibly).
This summer, the devlog counter exceeded 100 issues. The Indie Scrolls does not yet have a specific release date; the developer continues to publish mini-teasers with content and mechanics on social media.
