Control Resonant, according to the developers, is set to be more extensive and elaborate than the first installment. This time, the action will extend beyond the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control: players will be able to explore the city and face new threats.
The game's lead designer, Sergey Mokhov, stated that completing the main story will take approximately 30 hours. Those who wish to uncover all secrets and achieve 100% completion will need up to 50 hours.
The longer campaign will allow players to better master Dylan's abilities, including supernatural powers, various types of ammunition, and the shapeshifting weapon Aberrant, which will become a crucial part of the combat system.
The developers drew inspiration from Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 3, and PlatinumGames titles, but do not consider Control Resonant a copy of any of these projects.
Control Resonant will be released on September 24, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
