NVIDIA unstoppable: new RTX 50 graphics cards to increase in price for the third time this year - media

The graphics card market is once again preparing unpleasant news for gamers. According to the Taiwanese publication Economic Daily News, NVIDIA plans another price increase for its graphics cards bundled with memory.

According to the Taiwanese newspaper Economic Daily News, the cost of supplied chip and memory kits could increase by another 20–30%. If the information is confirmed, this will be the third significant price increase by the company in 2026.

While previously the price increase mainly affected flagship models like the GeForce RTX 5090, the new wave of price hikes could affect a wider range of products. After the current stock is sold off, the increased prices could directly impact buyers in stores.

The main reason cited is the ongoing crisis in the DRAM memory market, which increases the cost of manufacturing components. The data is based on anonymous leaks from the supply chain and has not yet been officially confirmed by NVIDIA.
