A major update for Escape from Tarkov is expected to be released soon, which will introduce a seasonal system to the game. The developers continue to gradually reveal details of the upcoming update.
Recently, the head of Battlestate Games published a new teaser on social media – he demonstrated a list of achievements for the first season of Escape from Tarkov, which was named “Kord Breach”. So far, only achievement icons have been presented, no descriptions are provided.
The creators of Escape from Tarkov also published a list of rewards for the first season of Escape from Tarkov. To receive them, players will need to reach a certain level or complete a series of seasonal tasks. After that, the reward becomes permanently available to all of the player's characters – both seasonal and permanent.
The “Kord Breach” rewards will include trade offers for various Black Division equipment items.
In addition, Nikita Buyanov published a gameplay teaser of the spectator mode – you can watch the recording by following this link. Its principle of operation is similar to the camera in Escape from Tarkov Arena: after death, the player will be able to switch and continue to observe what is happening in the raid “through the eyes of a comrade”.
The release of the next Escape from Tarkov update is expected in early August.
