Recently, various insiders have been fueling players' expectations. Allegedly, a full-fledged marketing campaign for Grand Theft Auto VI, which has been long awaited, will start soon.
These expectations are further fueled by the actions of Rockstar Games / Take-Two themselves – a few days ago, players noticed that popular "AI-generated gameplay videos" of GTA VI (these videos were generated using artificial intelligence) began to be actively removed from social media.
Now, another "signal" has been noticed. At the end of July, Rockstar Games updated the GTA VI website. ben (@videotech) pointed out three updates, the last one released very recently.
According to ben, there is "nothing remarkable" in these backend updates themselves, but he reminded that Rockstar Games "hadn't touched the site since the end of last month." In this regard, players assume that the start of the marketing campaign may take place in the coming days.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release in November 2026. Initially, the game will only be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The developers have not yet announced anything regarding the release date or release window for the PC version of the game.
