Konami released a nostalgic trailer for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2

A trailer has been released for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, which will bring Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Peace Walker to modern platforms for the first time.

Konami has released a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, which will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

The collection includes updated versions of Hideo Kojima's games. The main feature will be the first appearance of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker on modern platforms.

At the same time, Konami announced that the total sales of the Metal Gear Solid series have reached 66.4 million copies. This is an impressive result, considering that the franchise has not received a single new main installment in the last ten years – only remakes and remasters have been released, which continued to boost sales.

The new trailer at first glance looks like a brief recap of the series' events. The main idea is to show that the games included in Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 cover a storyline spanning several decades.
